Applicants for linguist only positions must speak the target language fluently, read and write the target language easily, and pass an exacting test administered by Spartan Linguistics & Consulting Services, LLC (SLCS-LLC). SLCS-LLC actively recruits candidates with a United States Army linguistics background or other candidates in other military branches with a similar linguistics background.
SLCS-LLC constantly seeks qualified applicants for the position of consultant. The minimum qualifications for these positions include a doctorate degree in a field related to the assignment. Since many of our consultants fill the need of linguists as well as cultural consultants, 15 years experience in the appropriate culture is an additional typical expectation. And, the SCLS-LLC consultant must be capable of working with people from all backgrounds in every situation – often assisting with introductions and negotiations or bringing peace to difficult situations.
SLCS-LLC prefers military personnel for management positions. A typical successful SLCS-LLC managerial candidate will have at least one tour in a branch of the United States Military or as a Police Officer and a minimum of 15 years managerial or professional experience. For high level managerial positions, an advanced degree is also highly desired.
